My Story

As someone juggling the roles of mom, wife, professional, and gym-goer, I understand how overwhelming life can get. But no matter how chaotic my day is, one thing I never compromise on is getting dinner on the table. For me, dinner isn’t just about feeding my family—it’s about creating moments where we can connect, laugh, and talk about our day.

Cooking has always been my passion,and my approach has evolved over the years. My focus is on recipes that suit my lifestyle: quick and easy meals packed with I want to enjoy dishes that make my family happy while giving me the energy and nutrients I need for my workouts.

My Inspiration

My family is my greatest inspiration. I have an amazing husband and two energetic boys who keep me on my toes both in and out of the kitchen. Junior, my oldest, is my toughest critic—he’s a picky eater, which keeps me creative when planning meals. On the other hand, Asante is my adventurous eater, happily trying anything as long as he hasn’t seen Junior’s reaction first! Together, they’re my recipe testers and the driving force behind what I create.

I’m very much a “you eat whatever was made” kind of mom, but nothing fills my heart more than hearing, “Mmh, can I have more?” Those little moments remind me why I love cooking, it’s not just about food; it’s also about the love and joy it brings to my family. The food part is still super important though😃.

Weight Loss Journey

Life after having my two boys has been a whirlwind of challenges, joy, and growth. Like many moms, I struggled with the changes in my body after pregnancy. At first, I was obsessed with losing weight, chasing every trend and diet, often at the expense of my mental and physical well-being.

Then I discovered weightlifting, and everything shifted. Instead of focusing on the number on the scale, I began to celebrate strength, energy, and the amazing things my body could do. Weightlifting became my outlet, my “me-time,” and a source of confidence I hadn’t felt in years. Now, my fitness journey isn’t about shrinking but about becoming stronger—for myself and for my favourite people
